4 Luxury Cabins and 2 Terrace Suites
Loulia is named after the Dahabiya British journalist Robert Hichens used on his trip through Egypt in the 1890s. A cruise aboard the Loulia could have come straight out of the pages of his book Egypt and its Monuments, published in 1908. You’ll see fabulous ancient monuments and sites others don’t see. Enjoy the rhythm of life on the Nile from a deckchair on the half-shaded sun deck. Walk through fields, visit local markets, villages, small islands and many other scenic spots. Below decks there is a lovely salon and lounge area styled with a dining table and comfortable sofas; to relax after a day of sightseeing.
Dahabiya Loulia can comfortably accommodate up to twelve guests in four spacious cabins and two larger suites, all with individual air-conditioning. Both suites have a private terrace. Each cabin and suite has an en-suite bathroom with colourful tiles, shower, toilet and bath.
Luxury Cabins
The four Nile-facing cabins are beautifully decorated with a charming mix of local antiques, Egyptian artefacts and hand-woven rugs. The cabins are fairly large by Nile Dahabiya standards. Each cabin includes two twin beds or one king-size double bed, dressed in fine Egyptian linen. You can gaze out the large French windows at the Nile and riverside villages. All cabins are able to accommodate an additional child bed or baby cot.
Terrace Suites
Dahabiya Loulia is fitted with two superb Terrace Suites, located at the back of the boat. Panoramic French windows and a small private balcony offer gorgeous Nile views. Each suite has a king-size brass double bed and is individually styled with Egyptian antique furniture. Each terrace suite can accommodate up to three guests: two adults and one child under 12 years old.
